Guest jormajohannes
Hi Please, help a newbe with a nasty problem. I have a multi OS system with Win2K, MDK 10 Official and MDK Community. Community is on a separate harddisk hdc. Win2k is on the second HDD in its own partition. On the second partition on the same HDD situates MDK 10 Official (hdb). I of course intalled Community first and tried Wine in it. It installed and worked fine. Later after installing Official and trying to install Wine on it, the following happened: the installation seems to succeed. Wine has created its menu as it should. But when trying to start e.g. the Program Manager, or Minesweeper the whole system crashes, not just Wine. The system must be booted from the start. During the boot up the filesystem must be recovered. This has happened several times. The only obvious difference between Official and Community is the kernel. In installing Community it used enterprise -kernel, and Community kernel-i686-up-4GB 2.6.3. Can the source on this problem be there? How should I proceed? Thank you
