JohnBoy
I'm still really new to linux, so I want to install a mandrake version of the 2.6 kernel, instead of the vanilla version, just because i dont want any conflicts to come up after I do it. Ive been working for about two days to get all my hardware working, and all I am missing is mounting my windows RAID array (i dont think i'm the only person who has had this problem.) I found an experimental driver for my SiI 3112 chip , but the latest driver is designed for 2.6. Where can I get a mandrake version of the kernel, or can i use the vanilla version without problem? Lord Kenneth
Check the FAQ for information on how to use urpmi. Use it to download the 2.6 kernel.
