Mordauk
I have q3 installed with the 1.32 point release, and it all works fine except for my mouse. All the buttons work fine, but I can't get any movement with it. I did some google'ing. And found someone who had the same problem. They said that they fixed by installing the 1.32b point release. But when I try to install any 1.32 point release, it doesn't work. Like it'll uncompress fine, but then before it actually starts the installed, it just stops, and sits there forever. It doesn't matter if I run it as root or not. Any clues? Oh btw. I'm running Gentoo not mandrake, but I'm hoping that some of you can still help me :)
ravage
if you're using gentoo, then why don't you emerge quake3 ?
SoulSe
if you're using gentoo, then why don't you emerge quake3 ? Yeah, or emerge -u quake3 to get the latest point release. For future reference: this should go in 'Other Linux Distributions' - just saying it before the Evil Mods get up in here.
