Kieth
I have installed an ethernet modem (using a card, not usb). I'm afraid I just do not know how to use it. It works with Windows98, so I know everything is hooked up OK. With W98, there is not a number to dial to log in, just a program (supplied with the modem), that sends my username and password to my server site. How do I log in with Linux? I have Mandrake 9.2. Thanks. Kieth
coverup
You are probably looking for a PPP over the Ethernet application. Roaring penguin's PPPoE is one choice.
