I am trying to install Tribes2 Dedicatd Server for linux. It gets to the part where it starts to get the files off the cd and says it is not mounted. Any Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

I am running Mandrake 9.2

it Says my cdrom is a scsi but it is a ide

It may be ide, but do you know if you have scsi emulation enabled? If it is also a burner, it definately has scsi emulation enabled.

Beyond that, the only thing I could suggest is dissabling supermount and mounting it the old fashioned way. Sup[ermount has been problematic for some people (though personaly i only ever have trouble with it if I try to remove it and put it back)
