Fred_the_Fish, it could be minor variations in hardware, configuration or packages installed - or not? I'm just glad to finally have 'flash' working B) ! Now I need to work on how to tell KDE what browser to launch by default when I click on a url (LOL)?!

VILLA21 ~ Thank You! That worked for me as well :D ! I had been following this fred trying to get flash to work with FIrefox, nothing got it to go until your post. Don't know exactly what it did but that's what fixed it... again, thanks!
