I found it.
It threw me off because the icon was named "Configure your Desktop >Advanced>Autostart, but the title bar says System Settings.

In case you are using Gnome, try System -> Preferences -> Sessions, then click the tab Startup Programs.
I was use to that when running Gnome but could not find it for KDE.

Have you tried System Settings > Advanced > Autostart?
I'm running KDE 4.1. Where is that located? I was looking for something like that.

Yes there is a folder .kde4/autostart and also a folder /user/share/autostart.
What scritpts are you talking about?

No screensaver or monitor power management
in Software

My screensaver never kicks in any more. It used to work but now nothing happens when it is enabled. The preview works but that's it.
Also power management for my LCD does not work. Stand by, Suspend or power off after X min. does not work.
I have a desktop with an LCD monitor.
Other Distro's do not seem to have a problem with this.
What am I missing?
