Can I put the iso image on a USB stick and boot? I want to install it on PCs without cd rom drives

I was looking for a similar thing and downloaded Delft from the below url,

this is 2007.1 but I think there`s a newer distro. So at the moment I`v got 0

hard drives in my pc, any saved data going onto a seperate Ext2 partition on

the usb stick.

Does anyone know if it is safe to delete any of these modules to save some precious ram.

It`s a shame Chris:b has decided to retire.

I`v been experimenting with usb distros for some time

and Delft seems to be perfect at the moment, very easy install,

reliable, everything works how it should.

great stuff.

With such talents I wonder why chris:b has not marketed her own distro.

Just installed Delft, fantastic, all went very smooth and works great well done guys n gals.

Did a shieldsup test and the default install left all ports open, so this test failed

big time.

Ok, i`m assuming that Delft needs a fat32 partition to allow it to boot, so as this is

a windows based partition does this not allow malicious code to run and infect the

OS as it does in Windows?

Is it possible for the Delft OS to access and write / save to a EXT2 partition on the

same usb stick for the added security that Linux offers( file permissions ect )

Any MCNLive security related links anyone knows of would be very much appreciated.
