Hi
Thanks for the welcome and help !
I've chosen what I think is a stable source ( ftp.sunet ),
sync'ed or not, is there any way to tell ?
By the way I'm using KDE.

Update problems :
Experimented with
System->Configuration->Other->LocaleDrake( System )
I've updated through Media Manager like this :
1) Remove every entry in the Media Manager list.
2) Then add 'Official_updates' then add 'Distribution Sources'.
Now I have these 7 entries:in Media Manager
- update_source
- main
- main_updates
- Main (Official2007.0-1)
- Main Updates (Official2007.0-2)
- Contrib (Official2007.0-3)
- Contrib Updates (Official2007.0-4)
This seems to work.
Any comments , do I need PLF ?

JAVA/JRE problems :
It seems that this is the way it is.
When I searched for the problem, I found that I'm not
the only one with this problem.
Have to manually install the java package.
Thanks for the link arctic.
There are many uninstalled ”java” packages, but I can't find
any specific package that I think is ”the one” I need.

Offtopic :
Shouldn't these java packages get installed when I choose to install a database ?
When I run the easy urpmi, it sets up the list that I'll get when I run Media Manager -> Add ?
Comments ?
