Uninstalled and reinstalled the toolbar - it doesn't work?

Well I did all of this but the radio is still not working. How do I open mplayer? And is mplayer really the problem?

Did the urpmi. But the radio still doesn't work. Do I have to activate mplayer somehow. And where is it located, I can't find it.

Downloaded this mplayer but it looks very difficult for me to install.

Following are the instructions how to do it: To install the Plug-in Player for Linux via an install script, follow these directions: - This installer is script-based and cannot be run from a GUI. - Uncompress install_flash_player_7_linux.tar.gz. A directory called install_flash_player_7_linux is created. Navigate to this directory. - From the command line, type ./flashplayer-installer to run the installer. The installer will instruct you to shut down your browser(s). - Once the installation is complete, the plug-in will be installed in your Mozilla browser. To verify, choose Help > About Plug-ins from the browser's menu. I somehow do not succeed in intalling it. I tried to open a Terminal and to type .flashplayer-installer to run it but it doesn't work. I also can't find the folder in the Terminal witch is located on the desktop!? Thanks

Hi, I downloaded the Israel Radio Toolbar extention from Firefox. Somehow the toolbar installs correctly but the radio button doesn't appear so I can't play radio. In windows it works perfectly. Am I missing some plugin or so? I do not get an error message. Thanks

Ok - I got in Linux is working. One more question - The vesa setting looks good to me. Do I really have to update my drivers?

How do I apply the vesa settings?

Can I mayby update from command line with easy urpmi?

I tried this, didn't work yet. I went to the terminal, typed mcc and then went to graphic. My card is VIA/S36 Unichrome Pro IGR When I was running Linux 2005 I didn't have a problem with it. I noticed something else: On start up after I press escape I see a lot of OK including on message with no OK saying: 'press Y to force file system intregity check' What should I do next?

Hi again, after the little trouble I had with Linux 2005 I downloaded Linux 2006 i586. I installed all the 3 cd and didn't get any error message!! Then I pressed on reeboot (after I took out the cd) and everything starts normal. Linux seems to Boot and I also do not get an error message when I look at the verose mode. After I passed this stage I see the first screen (with the mouse pointer) and then the Screen starts flashing!!! It continous flashing, the monitor on and off in a few seconds intervall without booting any further... When I shut down the system manualy end then I press esc I see that error message: Stopping Shoreshell: ipt.owners:pid,sid and command matching on STM is broken Any Help out there?
