My bad,
:(
-
I bought the Game Of the Year copy,
go to:
www.rtcwfiles.com
Look for the installs there. You'll have to copy some windows files over. Check this link out too.

Is there anything like newsbin pro?

Try k3b.
Works great for ISO and bin/cue files.

Your welcome,
I'm not sure why MD decided to confuse people and not name it Personnel Toolbar instead of there name?????????
Ohwell

CrossOver works nice when you use Exchange servers and are forced to use programs like outlook. I use Linux on my work desktop because I don't care for windows and nobody knows the difference if I can get my job done.

Oh,
If you want a GUI w/ APT,
apt-get install synaptic
8)
-
First go to: http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/
Follow the instructions and add the 6 sites.
After that,
1.) urpmi apt
2.) apt-get update
3.) apt-get upgrade
Viola your done!

Try adding your proxy into /etc/wgetrc &
Use this link first and then do your updates:
-
The first MANDRAKE folder under bookmarks is your personnel toolbar, just rename it.

Forget the last comment
I found the downloads for File Manager and SHELL, now were talking.

How do I move the files?
Make sure your files are in the root directory of your flash card. For example, if you copied the files to your Zaurus they will be in /mnt/cf/Documents/Applications/octet-stream. They should be moved to /mnt/cf (use the file manager for this or use the console).
I don't see a file manager? This doesn't look like Linux?

aRTee,
So your saying instead of using what came with it. You prefer OpenZaurus? My main problem currently is how do I get my Mandrake box to see Zaurus through the USB dock and transfer software?
If I use OZ and don't care for it, how do I get the original Zaurus back. Do I just use one of the ROM updates?
I was just jokeing about the money!!

I would love to figure out how to sink it, I know that you can becaue the zaurus site has a ROM upload with patches for Linux, I just have to figure out what software does it.
Sorry, can't sell it for $100

Oh, one more thing.
Please don't make me use my Winblows desktop at work to sync software downloads.
PLEASE

Ok,
I'm a pretty hardcore Linux user, so I decided I needed some sort of Palm device and found that Sharp made one running Linux. I thought Awesome, that's the one I'm getting!
But, I've never had a palm device before and don't know how they work. I know the software that came with it had an .exe file. Well, if I only use Linux that causes a little problem.
Does anyone know how I configure Mandrake 9.1 to see the usb Sharp Zaurus and sync up with it to install software and what not.
Thanks in advance, this is a subject I've never touched before.
BTW, I used to be a hardcore SuSE user. But MDk 9.1 caught my attention and got my buisness. I think I will have to buy the Power Pack!!!! I currently running the free download on three machines. One of them I'm trying to sync right now is a Toshiba Tecra 8100 Laptop. If there is any other info I can pass out, let me know.

Has anyone tried to install 2k or xp?
I know the doc's say they don't support them, but I figured someone would try anyway.
I'm just wondering if I try, will there be two dirs for 98 & 2k for example???
Any Thoughts?

Wow,
Juat about all I can say. I never used win4lin before, but decided to install it becuase I didn't care for booting in to Vmware(to many resources) & GNUcash I just didn't care for.
I installed win4lin, win98 and MSmoney & it's working great!!!!!!
Planning to try SuSE
in Other Linux and Unix Distributions

I ran SuSE a lot, one of the big problems that sends me away is apt-get and urpmi. You can use apt-get with SuSE, but don't expect to do it at a decent speed. There is one site and it runs at about 10k! That pretty much sucks. Others complain about there config files too. Other than that, it's pretty nice.
