yorneB
I'm kind of new to linux. I installed Mdk 9.2 (in french), downloaded the kernel source, installed it, then installed my nvidia driver. Up to that point everything when great. Then i updated with mandrake update, and now every menu is 75% english and 25% french. What can i do?? Thanks.

yorneB
I don't have any problem with english, it's just kind of weird and i'm asking myself if something else might be wrong that's not that obvious.
Pzatch
I'm limited to only english and quite limited at that. So sorry I just can't help you. You could be proud though thats the first I've ever heard of a problem like that. Though I'm pretty sure it has probably happened before. roland
Did you try to run MCC->System->MenuDrake ? assuming you run KDE, you can also check the KDE setting: Configuration KDE->System->Gestionnaire de connexion->mode super utilisateur->langue roland
Gowator
Actually nothing is quite so frustrating as having a system half in one language and half in another. You can try looking for the i-18fr files in the updates manually and reinstall them. You wiould think if Mandrake were going to get any localisation right it would be French but such is life.
