Guest ChrisL
A little while ago I got the mdkapplet notification telling me that 2010 was available as a distro update. I didn't have time to set it going and wanted to take a backup first so I cancelled it (but not permanently or so I thought). Having backed up my machine I rebooted and waited for the update notification banner again, but nothing happened. Several days, and reboots, later I've still had no banner informing me of the distro update. Manually checking only got me a couple of 2009.1 updates nothing else. Can anyone tell me how I can trigger the distro update again? Thanks In Advance Chris.
camorri
Go here -->http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2010.0_Notes Section 5 gives you instructions on various methods of upgrades. Last upgrade I did, I used the command line method. Worked very well, and I wound up with a file listing all the packages that were updated. This is the way I'll update my 2009.1 installation.
