stanituo
Hi, I dont'know if this is the right place to insert my question. I've a Mandriva 2008.1, with kernel: # uname -r 2.6.24.7-laptop-3mnb and during boot I've this warning: modprobe: WARNING: Error inserting padlock_aes (/lib/modules/2.6.24.7-laptop-3mnb/kernel/drivers/crypto/padlock-aes.ko.gz): No such device so my question is: what's padlock_aes module? what for? Thanks
Greg2
It's used for crypto. Do you have a wireless network card that might be using it, or an encrypted filesystem? If you have neither of these, you could blacklist the module.
