Need Help With Themes

I am puzzled by how much harder it seems to be to deploy a theme in KDE 4.3 vs Gnome. I have Googled for an hour and can not find what I am looking for.

Mandriva 2010 RC 1 64bit KDE4.3

How do I install a new theme and select it?

How do I install a theme for Amarok?

How do I change the look of the Taskbar (ie: remove candy stripe background)?

I can't believe I am this clueless. In Gnome this takes a minute. I hope someone can help. Thanks.

You can install new themes in: System Settings--> Advanced--> Desktop Theme Details or by: Right clicking the desktop and select Folder View Settings. You also select and apply the theme(s) from the same locations. If you are asking how to add new themes downloaded from KDE-Look.org then I don't know I haven't tried that yet.

I didn't know Amarok 2 was themeable yet.

This can be done here: System Settings--> Advanced--> Desktop Theme Details. You can change individual items there. Edited by {BBI}Nexus{BBI}

Can you tell me how you can change the colors of a theme in Gnome within one minute?

The only way I've found myself is rewriting the theme... :P

In KDE4, you can change anything about a theme within seconds, provided that you don't mind pressing alt+F2 and typing "systemsettings".

The only thing that you can't control so far is the size of some plasmoids, but this is supposed to be addressed in 4.4
