zack
Hi all, I personally see absolutely no reasons why I need all the crap packages to install some small program in RPM-based distros. And opposite. If I'd like to delete something which is 100% not related to anything else it can't be done, cause the whole installation will undergo... Is that something which never gonna change? Could it be optional or it is already and me just not good informed about? Thanks to all.
tux99
You can always us the --nodeps option of the 'rpm' command, but if you break something with it, you are on your own. I use it occasionally when I'm sure it's fine.
