Guest jkcavenaugh
How do I get these darn left and right side (Button 3+4) mouse buttons to go forward and back? It's a mini micro innovations.... no linux drivers exist, but when I use button 3 in Netscape... it appears to go to a search page. Kudos to whoever knows how to set mouse button options! Sarissi
Micro Innovations? It wouldn't happen to be the Optical Extreme dual wheel, Model PD550P, would it???? I have a friend who has that particular model, and not being able to use everything (generic 3 button one wheel mouse is all he can use) in Mandrake, is what is keeping him back from more usage of Linux. So here are 2 people asking about Micro Innovations rodents, though maybe different sub species. :D
bvc
in linux, a mouse is a mouse that's a mouse it's a mouse. If it can't be done with this method; http://www.mandrakeusers.org/viewtopic.php?t=7554 it can't be done....for now anyway.
Guest jkcavenaugh
Normally I'd think I'm beat on the mouse issue based on what you folks have said, but it worked up until today... When I got stuck on my video driver problem http://www.mandrakeusers.org/viewtopic.php?t=8801 I remember seeing a hardware configuration change on boot, said something like mouse no longer installed... was in commandline mode, kinda looked like a popup. Now, it doesn't give an error, it just doesn't move. I spent $40 on this stupid mouse
