Guest 4HEID
I just installed it from the one live cd after partitioning the hard drive with a windows xp os on the other part. however, there is no boot menu to choose mandriva, it always goes to windows. Its on an IBM T43 laptop. Any thoughts or how to get a boot menu option for the OS or must I reinstall again? Thanks, Chris

Thanks, Chris It sounds like your boot loader was written to the linux partition IE /dev/sdaXThe easiest solution is to reinstall and make sure the boot loader is written to the MBR IE /dev/sda Ken
demonseth17
yep Ken is right...you'll have to go to rescue mode using the DVD or get to Mandriva Control Center using the live CD and try to fix your problem...
