Mystery "Upgrade to 2009.0 (Stable)" dialog

A couple of times over the past few days, I've had a notification pop up saying a new version of Mandriva is available - 2009.0 (Stable).

Which is curious, because (a.) I'm running 2009.1, (b.) the red (!) hadn't appeared in the systray, and (c.) Mandriva doesn't use the (Stable) moniker.

In an attempt to discover what was going on, I clicked the "More Info" link. This brought up a modal dialog (System monitor helpfully revealed it was a Zenity dialog, but no indication of what had spawned it), with the title "System", the text "Your" and an OK button. Click that and the whole thing disappears.

I can't see anything unusual in the system logs (is there a way to just view them, rather than running a 'blank' search in MCC?), so...

If it happens again, what investigations should I do to determine what's producing this (fake / false alarm) message?
