How to play games on Linux?

tyme - I am horrified. I just followed the prompts after reading that cvs was available to all for free. This was an rpm that someone had made from cvs so it never occurred to me that it might not be legit and fair. I wanted to try out WineX for the first time and it seemed an ideal way of doing it relatively painlessly. I shall investigate further, and buy the Transgaming one if I find WineX is what I want. I would not want to deprive hard-working folk of a return for their efforts. I actually never play games but my small son has the odd Harry Potter thing or Goofy skateboarding or whatever and I am fed up with having to reboot to Windows for him.

it's ok johnKFT, some people don't know (and others don't like) how transgaming does it's thing. they're being weird about the CVS now...so who knows. it is freely available, technically, but they got mad at some distro's for making CVS rpm's. they're acting weird, i dunno :/
