Germ
I get the same thing as william, all on one line. Using the same zenity rpm.
william
Try this Germ: zenity --info --title="Disk Usage Report" --text=" You have $FREE1 free space on $NAME1, $USED1 is in use. You have $FREE2 free space on $NAME2, $USED2 is in use. You have $FREE3 free space on $NAME3, $USED3 is in use." I got it working after deleting the slashes. (using zenity-1.0-1mdk)
DOlson
That's strange. Oh well, glad you figured out how to fix it. :)

william
That's strange. Oh well, glad you figured out how to fix it. :) Germ: Unfortunately, I don't know how to explain it, consider the fact that I don't know anything about script and what I did was just to copy, paste and save the file to /usr/local/bin. Certainly I insisted a little and by chance I got it working. But I agree with Dolson's statement. That's quite strange!!! Go to my very primitive and first homepage, click on "my primary desktop" link and you will see (if geocities allows) the the Disk usage report window and Eterm with my gdf.sh file. Sorry for not being able to help you out.
Germ
duh...stupid me. I had three versions of the script open, copying, pasteing, and editing. I looked at the script again, removed the two instances of n and all is well. Hey william, that's a nice home page and a good start. Very clean. I like that.
DOlson
Okay, I'm guessing it's a problem with the version of zenity you're using. I'm using version 1.4 as packaged by Debian, and you all are using 1.0? Did it work properly for you, bvc?
bvc
All is well here and I have the 1.0 from the link I posted. I tried the newer first but it led to dep hell. This is on a default+updates ML9.1. Of course....works on Debian as well

Germ
Yep, using the version of zenity from bvc's link. Maybe we're in the Twilight Zone.
