manly
Hi, I'm having problems setting up an 8500 for 3d acceleration. I've got the drivers from dri.sourceforge.net installed, and working for 2d. I've edited XF86Free-4 to the settings recomended in this post: http://www.mandrakeusers.org/viewtopic.php...&highlight=8500 I think the problem is that agpgart is not loading. I have added the force option to /etc/modules.conf. Here is the output of dmesg: Linux agpgart interface v0.99 © Jeff Hartmann agpgart: Maximum main memory to use for agp memory: 439M agpgart: unsupported bridge agpgart: no supported devices found.
