arctic
Is 3D-Desktop enabled or disabled? Have you checked bugzilla already? Sounds like a bug to me. http://qa.mandriva.com
isamu
thanks arctic, no the 3d is not enabled [in fact I dunno how to do that?=)] I get curious bcause when the fail suceeds my mouse section in gnome System > mouse dont work, so I trace back the link and I found the gsynaptics pack is NOT installed by default so hopefully instaleed the pack and happy end bro. Thanks. So at the end if you are using gnome 2.24 with a synpatics touchapd you must install the gsynpatics add in order to make your cursor again. Thanks to all who read this
scarecrow
I do have a synaptics touchpad on my laptop, as well as Gnome 2.2.4 (although I very rarely use it), and the touchpad is working great, without any gsynaptics need. isamu
dear scarecrow are you making reference to gnome 2.2.4 or 2.24? the issue related here its to the last one =)
scarecrow
Last one, 2.24 It's certainly working without gsynaptics, and I don't find any good reason to believe that Mandriva explicitly packed Gnome with an odd dependency. I'm talking about the 32-bit version, but why the 64-bit one should be different?
