tyme Posted August 19, 2003 Report Share Posted August 19, 2003 looks like your only options right now MadHattr are to: 1)compile it completely from source 2)rebuild the source RPM or 3)use the non-mandrake specific RPM. other than that, watch texstar for an updated RPM as that's where the newest gaim rpm for mandrake tends to show up-but if you're impatient any of the other 3 options are rather simple and easy to do. DOlson Posted August 21, 2003 Report Share Posted August 21, 2003 I always just used the official RPMs of Gaim because the unofficial ones take too long to come out. Often by the time I got an unofficial Mandrake RPM, there would be a new version of Gaim out. :P Doesn't Cooker keep current with stuff like Gaim?
