Boot options after update [solved]

Greetings,

After running the updates last night, I now have 5 choices of OS when previously had only the first 3.

1). Mandriva 2009

2). Mandriva Safe Mode

3). Windows

4). Linux with kernel 2.6.27-desktop586rc8-2mnb

5). desktop586 2.6.27.4-1mnb

I don't understand why #4 and #5 were added, and what to do with them?

Thanks again!

#4 is the kernel which was included in the installation disk (or at least this applies for the netinstall disk I've used to test 2009.0).

#5 is the latest kernel from the updates repo.

#1 most probably is the same as #5.

So, unless #5 is not working well for you, you may remove the old kernel #4.
