rogerh
Hello, Just working through some 2008.1 install issues. I just booted up and the keyboard didn't work (mouse ok, but typing and nothing happens). Reboot and the keyboard is now working again. This is the second time the keyboard didn't work and a reboot solved it. 2 failures in about 11 sessions. This is an old keyboard with the circular plug, as opposed to a usb keyboard. Any insight or known problems (with solutions) appreciated. Thanks -- Roger
rogerh
Hello, Had to reboot 4 times to get the keyboard operational, so any assistance to resolve this would be very much appreciated. It is a Keytronic keyboard - in the hardware scan it comes up as 'AT translated set 2 keyboard Power button (FF) Power button (CM). The option setting for the keyboard is 'Generic US'. Any suggestions on how to resolve this ??? Thanks -- Roger
rogerh
Resolved. Shifted the printer and mouse USB connectors from the 'mother board' USB ports to ports in a 5 port USB board. The keyboard works consistently now.
