scarecrow
I have tried to upgrade, but I again get this version.) http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.or...x-3.0.3.tar.bz2 Untar it to, say, /opt (as root) and then make a link to /opt/firefox/firefox to your desktop folder for easy access. Some of your old extensions might be disabled as incompatible, but for one thing, flashplugin 10 will work OK.
JOE_X!!!
Hm. It's really worth it to upgrade at least to version 2008.1. I'm using 2009.0 (32-bit version) with Flash 10 and Youtube without any problems by now ... O.K. but the point is that everything used to be O.K. (even with Mandriva 2007) untill I decided to upgrade to Adobe Flash 10. And as I see on the Youtube forums other people also have problems with Adobe 10. scarecrow
Flashplugin 10 works more smoothly, and using less resources than flashplugin 9. It might be incompatible with really old Firefox builds, but you can't blame Adobe about that.
JOE_X!!!
O.K. "scarecrow' I understand your grounds but I will really be thankfull if you can tell me how to downgrade to Adobe -9.
Kieth
If you want, try this. In MCC, you can remove flash-plugin - Adobe Flash Player 10.0. Then download and install the following rpm file flash-plugin-9.
