Guest nubela Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 I just took the plunge and installed Mandriva 2009 on my MSI Wind, but after install, for 2 times already (Yes I redid it twice). The laptop hangs, and upon reboot, the screen is cropped off and shows only like 3/5 of the screen (top right rectangle) The mouse can still be seen around in the whole screen tho. ramfree17 Posted October 25, 2008 Report Share Posted October 25, 2008 this may sound pretty basic but have you checked the md5sum of the installer ISO images before you burned them? i am posting from my Wind and have reinstalled mdv2009.0 at least twice (since the rc versions). everything is working except the WPA but adamw is helping me on that front. btw, i used the cd images since i don't have a free DVD drive hanging around. ciao!
