It's 10pm my time, and only 1 hour left for the last cd. Do I stay up and play??

By the way, our server has excellent speed!

Report: It's tomorrow!!

The default kde with galaxy is really nice. Everything auto detected flawlessly this time. The video looks the best I have seen a Mandrake default. I'm going to convert to nvidia next. This is a nice beta.

I do not need any sleep!!

I have never seen kde work this fast. And konquerer is also faster. They have done something right!

I believe that was KDE's work, not mandrake's. This beta comes with the new 3.1.3, which I seem to remember reading that they've optimized a lot of code. Great! I was happy to read that!

yes, how was the install? did they fix the horrible bug with individual package selection (or did you not have that problem with beta1?)?

I downloaded the CDs last night...I couldn't resist the urge.

two cool things I noticed:

- First version of Netprofile, the new network profiles manager designed for users who connect to multiple networks. Feedback is highly requested for this newly introduced feature.

- Complete rewrite of userdrake (user management) in Gtk2
