arctic
FYI, OpenOffice 3.0 is already included in Mandriva 2009.0. (not that you download it from the net only to find out that you have it already installed by default B))

Kieth
In fact, after reading the "Portal News", I opened up OO to see what version I had, since I was sure it was 3.0, and yep, it came with 2009.0!

I think that Mandriva used the final RC. OpenOffice final RC's are usually identical to the official release. Jim
ianw1974
Yup, it's been in Mandriva 2009.0 since at least RC2 if not earlier.

Jim In the case of OOo3, RC4 is identical to the final release. I have been running RC4 for a while now, when I tried to update with the RPM's from the final release there was nothing to update. scarecrow
I can confirm RC4 is the same as 3.0 final. I know it, as I am the official maintainer of the Greek OOo spelling in Archlinux, as well as the unofficial one for the Greek support (I make the PKGBUILDS, but as they move to Community whenever an OOo release becomes stable, they get owned by a major Arch maintainer...). OOo3 is great- it's bigger than OOo2, but rather lighter on resources, and way richer in features!
