Looks like SuSE is going to the Distro to watch...

 

IBM has deals with SuSE, now SUN,... I believe Germany gets its Linux machines from SuSE (appropriately enough).

i think RH is going to be the first one that might start appearing on government machines.  SuSE might come later, but ATM RH looks like the candidate...

 

I would tend to agree with that statement unless there using IBM Mainframes and then they will go with SuSE.

If I'm not mistaken, SuSE already is being implimented in some (German) government machines, most notably for the city of München, Germany. Unless your talking specifically about US government machines....

Yep, I thought we were talking about U.S. Goverment. I only brought up SuSE because AFAIK there the only ones that work on IBM eservers. Could be wrong, but there the only one's I have heard of.
