Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I can not rip files from a CD in a format that is playable on my nintendo wii. I have tried ripping with soundjuicer in the aac (m4a) format, but the wii can not read them. I assume that the program is not ripping in a compatible format, does anyone know how I can get this to work? Thanks in advance.

Which encoder you have installed?

There is faac, neroaacenc, aacplusenc... which one?

Strictly technically, the wii should playback every aac file, but to achieve that an upgrade to Photo Channel 1.1 is necessary (if the console was bought before Nov. 2007).

And, for the record, the most accurate native CD ripper for Linux is clearly Rubyripper.
