manly
Hi, I've been using kmail for email, and it's been storing all of the email in maildir format. I'm going to be getting a PowerBook in a few weeks, but I can't find any programs that will convert email to mbox so Mail.app can import it. Since I have about 65 MB of email in ~/Mail (that's all since early June!), I would like to not have to lose all of the email when I switch to the PB. I had thought of running kmail within OS X via X11, but I would prefer to be using a naitive email app. Thanks! --Andrew
Steve Scrimpshire
This would be a pain in the butt, I know, but how about creating a new folder in Kmail in mbox format and then copy all your old mail into that folder with kmail? It looks like Sylpheed does it, too. You can import your mail to Sylpheed and then export it to a mbox file.
