Guest RSA
I have installed Mandrake 10.0 Official in my HP Compaq laptop for some development activities in C language. I was using vi - editor and today, when I made save from the editor “:wqâ€, something happened accidently and os started behaving strangely. I mean, when I type char ‘r’ in the keyboard, the console and text editors displaying ‘gr’, similarly when I type ‘g’, its displaying ‘gr’. This problem exists for a few keys. Also I am not able to save from the vi editor, bcoz the char ‘q’ is not displaying in a single stroke. When I press ‘q’ continuously, the vi editor shows recording… and not exiting the edtior What could be the reason behind this, Please advice…. Thanks in advance
daniewicz
I believe the first thing I would do is install a newer version of Mandriva. Mandrake 10.0 is extremely old from a linux perspective and hardware support has increased dramatically. Mandriva 2008.1 can be downloaded and installed free of charge. coverup
Do keys get stuck all the time or just time to time (on regular intervals)?
