Kieth
You can use Kaffeine. I just hooked up. On the home page, click on "Listen Live to CBC Radio One" line. Then click on "Help". Then click on "Visit our full list of streaming URLS". A new window will open up with a long list of stations. Copy and paste the address you want in Kaffeine. In Kaffeine, click on "file", then "open URL" and paste the URL station address you want. While writing this, I'm listening to CBC Radio One Calgary. Greg2
Yes, Kaffeine is working here also. Or you could use the Ogg Vorbis format option on the right side of that page.

scarecrow
The gnome-player/gecko-mediaplayer combo is also working great, and it's desktop-independent (only gtk2 is a dependency).
