Guest duksandfish Posted July 22, 2008 Report Share Posted July 22, 2008 Well, i am totallt new to linux,and when i put my live cd i just downloded and burned in, it booted, came up with a screen where i press enter to load, then it goes onto another screen withwhat looks like a loading bar at the bottom left, but nothig happens, the cd drive is spinning, but after about 30 seconds it stops and for some reason my Capslock light on my laptop starts to flash? I have tried this 5 times now, two of them leaving it for 10 mins while it is doing nothing. Here are the specs of my laptop : http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/3477513/Acer...ok/Product.html Any ideas? is it a bad burn to the cd? I can boot other cds, like a ubuntu live cd fine.
