Acer Aspire Card Reader Help

I have one of those 5-in-1 card readers on my Acer Aspire 3680. I've been reading how only the SD and XD work, but in my case they aren't working.

Is there a fix for this? Maybe I need the drivers?

The card reader does show up with I do "lspci".

Thanks,

Amanda

Interesting, so does that mean it is recognizing it?

It's recognizing it, but it's not attaching it. It appears to be a module loading problem? With the card inserted, please post the output of (as root)

lsmod |grep -i sd

and

lsmod |grep -i mmc

and

lsmod |grep -i tifm

Does the output of lspci identify this as a Texas Instruments card reader?
