qeldroma
@itti: without "u" ;) only Q(nothing) ELDROMA I set up a X-terminal net, with Mandrake and was asked for making a HowTo... What are the subjects for you, that are the most interesting to describe in it?? Please make suggestions. What i did where several clients that are NOT thin, but only small, which log into a server and get their "picture" from it. The clients send the mouse/keyboard-info back, so there's no way fro the user to recongnize, he's not local. That's what a terminal is. Interesting is, that a 486 with 133MHz worked pretty well, i don't know, if a smaller would work, too. For thoose, want to install a networkbooting Terminal-net, look at "the linux terminal server project".
theYinYeti
Hi! I don't know what you were able to achive, but do you know how to: - give access to the device files (especially mixer...) the same way as on the server, - tunnel sound. Apart from that, I'd say that the existing documentation is rather easy to use. Bye, Yves.
qeldroma
The way is using OSS for sound. Then there are several daemons like esd, that will work. I was told to look into the ltsp-package for this. So i can't tell something probed, just what i heard. Sorry. Maybe in some weeks i will have done this, too.
