ianw1974 Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 Maybe I'm just completely sceptical, but when I remember the patent thing, they were saying they wanted to sue companies using Linux that violated it's patents. So: to track and catalog the use of open-source software in enterprises worldwide gives them all the information they need to complete their objective :o I'm hoping it's going to be of benefit though with their involvement to help progress the Open Source movement in a more positive light.
