I want to know if anyone has experience with a USB headset in Linux and if there's anything I should look out for, or if it would be easier to just get a regular headset and go that route. adamw Posted June 12, 2008 Report Share Posted June 12, 2008 in a way, USB headsets are easier. But you should understand how they work. They show up *as a separate sound device* - like another sound 'card'. So you have to configure whatever application you're using to use the headset rather than your regular sound card.
