joshdudeha
Does anyone know where I can download this please? Because I need it for a theme that I want. The links on KDE-Look don't work for it. Is there an RPM? Thanks for helping.
joshdudeha
Right, I've found the source so I can install it by compilation, but half way through ./configure it says "checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation! " I don't know where to install these. Can you please help? Thanks
liquidzoo
Try urpmi I think the package you're looking for is qt3-common I just saw it in the 'main' urpmi repo, so urpmi qt3-common should work.
joshdudeha
Hmm, this is weird. I looked through /usr/lib and QT3 and QT4 are there? And when i do that command I get the following: "[root@localhost joshua]# urpmi qt3-common Package qt3-common-3.3.8b-1mdv2008.1.i586 is already installed Package qt3-common-3.3.8b-1mdv2008.1.i586 can not be installed" =/
liquidzoo
you could try libqt3-devel and libqt3-static-devel The same rpms exist for qt4 as well.
joshdudeha
Thank you, just had dinner - so I'll install these now. I think they will work =]
joshdudeha
Hmm, that worked but "checking for KDE... configure: error: in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail. So, check this please and use another prefix! " It just seems to be another problem after another =/ Can you help again please? thanks :]
liquidzoo
Did you just use ./configure or did you use something else? My guess is you would need to use: ./configure --prefix=/usr I'm surprised that there isn't an RPM out there for deKorator, I looked, though, and there's not one in the repositories. I think there's a srpm on kde-look that you could build, though. rpm --rebuild .....src.rpm
medo3891
You need the task-kde-devel package. You always need the devel packages when compiling from source.
joshdudeha
Oooh :] I think that would be the thing needed. Thank you for helping, I'll post back if there's anything else. You're all Stars (*) :]]
