Roberto Oropeza
Yes, my KDE menu is just gone, without apparent reason, I was working and suddenly it was gone. I've restarted the computer, and it didn't come back, I've disabled 3D effects, and it didn't come back. How can I fix this, please?
ramfree17
if i want the quickest (not necessarily the best) way to rest KDE stuff, I just rename ~/.kde to ~/.kde_old so that when i start KDE again it will generate the default settings. as i said, its not the best since it will mean that you have to re-configure every user customization you made, or figure out the settings folder from ~/.kde_old and copy it over to the new ~/.kde. ciao! Roberto Oropeza
:D Thanks, I solved it like this: I went to Home icon, asked for a shell, then typed kcontrol, then apeared the control center..., and I put my panel one side and then up (as this is the position I use it). Accept. And everything OK. Why it disapeared? Who knows... (put "twilight zone" music please) Edited May 26, 2008 by Roberto Oropeza
