fminmexico Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 A week ago I loaded the Mandriva powerpack DVD on my computer with no problems until today.This morning I started my comp as usual it stopped loading and gave me. local host login ethl PHY reset until linkup and it just keeps repeating this. I tried loading in safe mode and it waits for an input at telling INIT to go to single user mode INIT going single user sh-3.2# I used escape at boot up it gave me 3 options linux/linux-nonefb/failsafe. I tried all 3 with both Linux I got (local host login ethl PHY reset until linkup) with failsafe I got (telling INIT to go to single user mode INIT going single user sh-3.2# ) I then hit esc while it was booting.It went to another screen which ran commands for about a minute then I got the (ethl PHY reset until linkup).
