jameswong Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 Hi, I use Mandriva linux 2008. 1 and one issue about Firefox download file to external storage that is behaving strangely which I am seeking some advice. I have two external USB storage : flash drive and external harddisk. When I use Firefox to download files to these drives, it failed. Yet when I first download the files to "internal" hard disk and then move these to the external USB drives then it is working fine. Any help is appreciated. Greg2 Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 That has been a reported bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org since 2004. They claim it's been fixed in the Firefox 3 betas. If you look at the bugs listed about this at bugzilla.mozilla you will find a workaround for NTFS, but I don't believe there's a fix listed for FAT16/32.
