The man that brought us the ReiserFS is found guilty of first degree murder.

 

OAKLAND, California -- Jurors found Linux programmer Hans Reiser guilty of first degree murder on Monday, concluding he killed his estranged wife in 2006. The verdict followed a nearly six-month trial and nearly three days of deliberation

Seems to me that they had already made up their mind from the beginning.

 

What about "in dubio pro reo" ?, seems some people don't understand this nowadays.

 

there was a time when you had to be proved guilty, now it seems to be the other way round, you have to prove that you're not guilty.

 

don't get me wrong, I am not entirely sure if he didn't do this but there is at least enough doubt that he did it.

Yup, I studied it at school, was one of the few texts I actually enjoyed.

 

Before anyone makes comments dooming reiserfs, remember Reiser4 is developed by many more people than Hans.
