ianw1974 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Share Posted April 15, 2008 I got the same problem with Fedora 8 also on my laptop. Boot the CD and choose FTP/HTTP install. If you have second machine somewhere, mount the iso on second machine on loopback and then put it under vsftpd for anonymous access, and then just connect and install across internal LAN :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have seen issues where the Free versions do not detect all hardware properly and sometimes either switching to one of the Mandriva One versions or the Power Pack version will.
