Ixthusdan Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 At the top of our page is a link called Easy-Urpmi. Go to that link and follow the instructions to the letter. Remember that if you open a console (terminal) type "su" press enter and then enter your root password. All system adjustments must be done as the administrator or root user. SoulSe Posted March 5, 2008 Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 Welcome to the board! I assume you're using Mandriva Linux? If so, there are a variety of ways to install software. Urpmi is Mandriva's package manager and probably your best bet. Follow Ix' instructions to configure it.
