Guest Tux Posted February 26, 2008 Report Share Posted February 26, 2008 (edited) I have a Compaq v6000 and some times the display is a little dark and other times it is fully bright (IE: upon different boot ups). Anyone else experience something like this? The power adapter is bad (the pin) or the place where it is inserted into the laptop is loose. Poor connection= power saving feature on the laptop= dimmer screen.
