Guest anon
Right click on a tar file and choose " open with archive " Or if you search our doc section, you would find stuff like this : http://www.mandrakeusers.org/docs/basics/b....html#Unpacking

DragonMage
Well, I am still in RC1 (downloading 9.0 Final as I am typing this right now, finally my DSL is on), but there should be some programs that you can do to uncompress zip files. I always use gnozip (it should be in the cds) to do that but I am sure there are others. Fileroller should work also.
mystified
I use Ark. You can just right click on any file and extract. It's as easy as using Winzip.
