Guest railman Posted February 18, 2008 Report Share Posted February 18, 2008 I have this problem: when linux is already loaded I can only see the screen absolutely black but I can move the cursor even if nothing happens. During the loading process there is following message: "temporary failure in name resolutions"but I don't know if this problem is linked to the situation explained above. Please help me! Ixthusdan Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 Welcome! Are you saying that the screen is black/blank? Is the cursor flashing? Is it a log in prompt?
